Welcome Message: Vice Chancellor

I wish to welcome you to Ho Technical University (HTU), where we pride ourselves as the hub of technological and practical education in Africa. Indeed, we are the reference point of TVET higher education in Ghana.

As you may already know, HTU has a decent and respectable academic community, serene environment, adequate facilities and qualified faculty and Staff poised to guide and support your training and development as Junior Members in the University.

As an institution, our mission is to develop highly competent human capital through career-focused education, skills training, research and innovation in partnership with stakeholders. We are therefore committed to providing our students with teaching, learning, and supervision of the highest quality and to ensure that our students and graduates compare favourably with others globally.

In fact, the opportunities at HTU are endless. We have created an enabling environment and established adequate support systems, opportunity for student exchange programmes abroad coupled with other key services geared towards promoting a remarkable teaching and learning experience in the University.

However, striking the right balance between academic work, social life, extra curricula activities and religiosity on campus would greatly enhance your overall growth and progress, on campus. I therefore encourage you to step out of your comfort zones and challenge yourselves with positive and creative ideas and innovations as you pursue your studies in the University.
