Entry Requirements

Ho Technical University’s primary objective is to train the next generation in various disciplines to feed and drive progress in the various economy sector in the country and across the globe. Having made a tremendous progress by upgrading its courses to more advanced ones in engineering, vocational and business fields, the University has gained widespread image recognition and excellent reputation. 

Master Degree programmes:

Applicants must possess  a minimum of Second Class Lower in a related field of study.

Bachelor  Degree programmes:

1. HND and Equivalent Diplomas

Applicants must possess  a minimum of second class lower in a related Field of study . Successful applicants will be admitted into level 300

    2. WASSCE Holders

Credit Passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus three (3) relevant elective subjects

    3. TVET Certificate Holders

I. Certificate II holders: Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science plus three (3) relevant trade courses

II. Technician Part III Holders

4. IV. GBCE Holders

Six (6) GBCE credits including English, Business Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies.

HND programmes:

1. WASSCE Holders

 Passes (a1-d7) in six (6) subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus three (3) relevant elective subjects

2.TVET Certificate Holders

I. Certificate II holders: Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies plus three (3) relevant trade courses

II. Technician Part II Holders

3. GBCE Holders

Five (5) GBCE credits including English, Business Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies.

Mature Applicants

Applicants who are 25 years and above are eligible to apply
