The University has received a major boost to its academic facilities with the donation of eight industrial sewing machines and four industrial irons by the Department of Fashion and Design, valued at about GH¢32,000.00, and a projector by the Department of Marketing.
The items were presented to the University Management, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Ben Q. Hoyenuga, at a brief ceremony held on Friday, March 21, 2025.
According to the Head of Department of Fashion and Design, Dr. Daniel Agbeko, the donation was necessary to accommodate the growing student population and facilitate practical learning.

On his part, the Head of Department of Marketing, Dr. Ernest Tsetse, said the projector was a modest contribution towards enhancing teaching and learning in the university.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed his profound gratitude to both departments for their generous contributions, describing the donations as a manifestation of commitment and dedication to academic growth. He assured the university community that management was working tirelessly to ensure that all departments receive the necessary tools to equip students with relevant skills.

Professor Hoyenuga also encouraged members of the university community to leverage their networks to further support the university’s development. “The university is growing, and every contribution, no matter how small, plays a vital role in its progress,” he stated.
