Dr. Mathias Kofi Ashiboe-Mensah, the immediate past Quality Assurance Officer at the Directorate of Planning & Quality Assurance of the University, has donated three metallic notice boards to the institution. The presentation was held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at a brief ceremony on campus.
Explaining the motivation behind his gesture, the retired Quality Assurance Officer, said the donation was inspired by his observation of haphazard posting of notices across campus. He noted that the boards would help streamline and standardise information dissemination while enhancing the university’s visual identity. He further disclosed that the boards were fabricated under the supervision of the Director of Works & Physical Development, Dr. Nicholas Awagah, and expressed appreciation for his immense support.

Receiving the items, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ben Honyenuga, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Ashiboe-Mensah for the thoughtful gesture. He lauded him for his immense contributions to quality assurance in the University, noting that his leadership over 12 years helped shape academic standards and institutional excellence.
The Vice-Chancellor also directed the Director of Public Affairs to identify vantage locations for the immediate deployment of the boards.
Present at the ceremony were other members of Management, deans, directors, and staff of the Planning & Quality Assurance Directorate, who joined in commending Dr. Ashiboe-Mensah for the thoughtful contribution.
