NUNYA LIBRARY HOSTS MAIDEN CHOCOLATE DAY ORIENTATION FOR FRESHERS

The HTU Nunya Library welcomed Level 100 fresh students with its inaugural Chocolate Day celebration on February 14, 2025.

The event aimed to introduce students to library resources and services, bridging the gap between high school and university-level academic resources.

The Acting Head of the Nunya Library, Mr. Joseph Owusu Kwakye, assured students of the library staff’s readiness to assist them throughout their university journey. He emphasized that a strong foundation in research and resource utilization is key to achieving good grades.

During the event, students visited the library in batches and were guided through an orientation session. The library staff provided insights into the history of the Nunya Library, its different departments and sections, and the wide range of services available to students.

They also explained lending and borrowing policies, library rules and regulations, and how to access electronic resources through the University’s e-library platform.

To reinforce the theme of warmth and hospitality, the library staff shared chocolates with the students.

The event successfully combined education with a touch of celebration, leaving the freshers with both valuable knowledge and a sweet experience to start their academic journey at HTU.
