HTU Benefits from GCB Bank’s ICT Support

Ho Technical University (HTU) has received a donation of 20 desktop computers and accessories from GCB Bank PLC to enhance its digital learning facilities.

The items were presented on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, by the Ho Regional Manager of GCB Bank, Mr. Stephen Selorm Hotor, together with officials from the bank’s campus branch. He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to education, digital transformation, and youth empowerment, stressing that the initiative reflects GCB’s belief that every student deserves access to the tools that unlock their potential.

Vice‑Chancellor, Prof. Ben Honyenuga, supported by members of the University’s Executive Management, received the equipment on behalf of the institution. He expressed appreciation to GCB Bank for the gesture, recounting the cordial relationship between the two institutions, as HTU hosts a branch of the bank on its campus. Prof. Honyenuga noted that the computers will beef up the University’s e‑library, thereby expanding access to digital resources for students and staff.

This is the second time in recent years that HTU has benefited from such support. In 2022, GCB Bank donated 10 computers to the University, a contribution that has already impacted teaching, learning, and research.
