Ho Technical University (HTU) and the Harare Polytechnic, Zimbabwe, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic collaboration and excellence. The agreement aims to promote joint research projects and career development initiatives for faculty, staff, and students between the two institutions.

The MoU was signed on the sideline of the 2024 African Technical Universities and Polytechnics Association (ATUPA) Conference in Kenya, uniting two top African technical institutions.
The partnership will provide opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to enhance their skills and knowledge, exchange expertise, resources, and best practices, and enhance the quality of education.

HTU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ben Q. Honyenuga expressed delight at the opportunity to work with Harare Polytechnic, stating that it marks the beginning of fruitful collaborations that will strengthen ties between the institutions.

Harare Polytechnic Principal, Dr. Tafadzwa Mudondo also expressed excitement for the partnership, emphasizing that it is a win-win for both institutions and a significant step towards regional integration and cooperation in Africa.
