Welcome to the University’s Hostel Management System (HMS)! We are dedicated to providing you with a streamlined and efficient process to secure your on-campus accommodation. Information about room types and their associated costs can be found on the Hostel Fees Page.  Follow these simple steps to book your hostel room:

How to Secure Your Accommodation

Step 1: Check for Availability of Bed

  1. Click on the Availability Checker Button below to check for Vacancy before proceeding.

Step 2: Purchase a Voucher

  1. From Zenith Bank: Visit any Zenith Bank branch and purchase a voucher for the type of room you wish to book. Ensure that you receive a receipt with the voucher details, including the serial number and PIN.
  2. Via the Weblink Payment Portal: Alternatively, you can purchase the voucher online through the Payment Portal. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive a receipt with the serial number and PIN via SMS.

Note: Keep your voucher details secure, as you will need them to complete the booking process.

Step 3: Log In to Your Student Portal

  1. Go to the Student Portal  and log in with your university credentials.
  2. If you have trouble accessing the portal, please contact the IT support team at itservicedesk@htu.edu.gh.

Step 4: Authenticate Your Voucher

  1. Navigate to the Accommodation menu on the Student Portal.
  2. Enter the serial number and PIN from your voucher in the appropriate fields.
  3. Click Authenticate to verify your voucher.

Step 5: Book Your Bed

  1. Once authenticated, browse the available rooms and select your preferred bed. Note that, this is based on the type of room you paid for
  2. Confirm your selection to complete the booking.
  3. Print Out Your Hostel Reservation Form: After booking your bed, generate and print the registration report. This document serves as proof of your booking and may be required during check-in.
