CIVIL ENGINEERING DEPT. MARKS 2025 WORLD WATER DAY WITH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AT KLIKOR

The Department of Civil Engineering of the University commemorated World Water Day on March 22, 2025, with a community-focused event at Klikor in the Ketu South Municipality.

Led by Ing. Dr. Mrs. Patricia Asantewaa Tanoh, the Head of Department, the team engaged with local residents on water conservation and sustainable practices, emphasizing the importance of proper waste disposal, reforestation, and environmentally friendly habits.

The event was held under the global theme “Glacier Preservation” and highlighted the department’s mission to educate communities on flood risk reduction, waste management, and environmental conservation.
