English Proficiency Admission

Admission into English Language Proficiency Programme for the 2022/2023 Academic year

Ho Technical University has opened admission to prospective students who wish to learn English language proficiency to enhance their spoken and writing skills.

The English proficiency programme is to prepare non-English speaking students and other interested candidates who are willing to further their studies at Ho Technical University or other tertiary institutions in Ghana.

Upon completion of the programme and training examinations, learners shall receive an English Proficiency Certificate to ascertain their language competency.

The course is opened to:

1. Holders of International Baccalaureate certificates from any francophone country who want to enrol on the University’s HND and degree programmes but do not have the requisite English language proficiency certificates.
2. Individuals passionate about acquiring basic language competencies and good written communication skills.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

The first level shall run for a semester.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Complete the application form on the University’s website via this link (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1FzdbkvdjvwR5hERhTUpbwkcTaxcx0M-reydtv6uvzwU/edit?usp=drivesdk) 
2. Pay the required fees into the account details provided in your admission letter.
3. Present the pay-in-slip at the University Cash Office for Official University receipt
4. Proceed to the International Programmes Office (Afese Block, ground floor) with your receipt for registration
