FULBRIGHT SPECIALIST INTERACTS WITH MGT. AHEAD OF CAPACITY-BUILDING PROGRAMME

Mr. Philip Agbeko, a renowned Fulbright Specialist, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, paid a courtesy visit on the University Management.

The visit marks the beginning of a week-long capacity-building programme focused on Needs Assessment and Gender Equity in Agriculture, which he will be facilitating.

During the meeting, Mr. Agbeko interacted with the University’s leadership and expressed his commitment to contributing his expertise to the project. He emphasized the importance of collaborations and the transformative impact such initiatives can have on institutional growth.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ben Q. Honyenuga, expressed his gratitude to the Fulbright Specialist Programme for partnering with the University and welcomed Mr. Agbeko’s involvement.

He highlighted the project’s alignment with the University’s strategic plan, emphasizing its relevance to HTU’s broader mission of fostering capacity-building, gender equity, and sustainable development. He expressed optimism that the programme would create significant impacts and pave the way for further collaborations beyond the Fulbright Specialist Programme.
