The Council of Ho Technical University has approved the promotion of two Senior Lecturers, Dr. Eli Ayawo Atatsi and Dr. Elizabeth Dzigbordi Obinnim, to the grade of Associate Professor.
Prof. Atatsi, of the Department of Management Sciences, HTU Business School, and Prof. Obinnim, of the Department of Fashion Design and Textile, Faculty of Art and Design, are now the University’s first female Associate Professors.
Their appointments take effect from October 7 and 8, 2024, respectively.
A circular issued by the Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dr. Christopher Amehoe said the University Council commended their significant contributions to knowledge in their respective disciplines through teaching, scholarship, and community service.
