It is announced for the information of past and present students of Ho Technical University and the general public that, following the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) decision to grant amnesty to HND students whose studentship expired and have trailed in some courses to redeem themselves for certification, the University is organizing Special Re-sit Examinations for past students who lost their studentship as well as past and continuing students (both HND and Degree) who wish to re-sit or retake course(s) they have challenges with, as provided in the schedule below:

  • Date for Registration of courses: 9th-27th September, 2024
  • Cost of Registration – GHC 250 per course (this covers tutorials and examination)
  • Tutorials for all Candidates: 30th September to 12th October, 2024
  • Period of Examinations: 14th-19th October, 2024

Registration Procedure

  • i. Pay appropriate fees at any GCB Bank through Eagle Pay. Ensure the purpose of payment is stated as Special Re-sit.
  • ii. Download the Re-sit Registration Form from the University website at https://htu.edu.gh/specialre-sitform/
  • iii. A hard copy of the Registration Form is also available on the University Campus. Pick a copy from the Main Security Office at the Asogli Complex or the Teaching and Examinations Unit at the G.M. Afeti Auditorium during working hours.
  • iv. Complete the Re-sit Registration Form and submit a copy to your department and the original copy to the Teaching and Examinations Unit after successful endorsement by designated officers of the University.

NOTE:

  • Tutorials are compulsory for all candidates. Candidates who fail to participate in the two-week tutorials are ineligible to participate in the Examinations.
