FULBRIGHT SPECIALIST NEEDS ASSESSMENT PROGRAMME HELD

The Fulbright Specialist Needs Assessment and Gender Equity programme, which commenced on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Ho Technical University (HTU), has been concluded.

Led by Fulbright Specialist, Mr. Philip Agbeko, the week-long programme engaged various categories of staff across departments, including Management, Senior Members, Heads of Departments, and Faculty.

Through interactive engagements, participants shared insights into their strengths, challenges, and areas requiring development, highlighting gaps in resource allocation, operational efficiency, infrastructure, and capacity-building.

Mr. Agbeko commended participants for their openness and collaborative spirit, noting that the insights gathered would inform actionable strategies to address the university’s identified needs.

The programme aimed to align HTU’s needs with its strategic plan, leveraging existing strengths while mobilising resources to bridge critical gaps.

The outcomes of the programme are expected to contribute to the development of capacity-building strategies and a roadmap for sustainable institutional growth.
