The National Leadership of the HTU Alumni Association paid a courtesy call on Management of the University on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
The delegation, led by the HTU Alumni Relations Officer, Mr. Francis Ganyaglo, used the occasion to formally present the National Executives to Management and discuss opportunities for continued collaboration and alumni support for the development of the University.
Speaking on behalf of the executives, President of the HTU Alumni Association, Engr. Andrews Addoquaye Tagoe, expressed appreciation to the Vice Chancellor and Management for their continued support and for creating opportunities for alumni to contribute to the University’s governance and development. He particularly acknowledged Management for allowing members of the Association to serve on various university committees and for the opportunity to have alumni representation on the University’s Governing Council.
Engr. Addoquaye Tagoe also outlined some projects the Association intends to undertake in support of the University. He therefore appealed to Management to identify priority areas where the Alumni Association could channel its resources and interventions to complement the University’s development efforts and address pressing needs.
Responding, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ben Q. Honyenuga, thanked the Alumni Association for its support and contributions to the University over the years. He encouraged the national executives to sustain and deepen their engagement with the institution, noting that the collective experience, expertise and resources of alumni could make a meaningful contribution to the University’s growth and development.
Other members of the National Executive Committee who were present at the meeting included the Vice President, Rev. Dr Bright Adonai; General Secretary, Ms. Juliet Nugble; Treasurer, Mr. Simon Komla Mawulolo Nayo and Operations Officer, Mrs. Bubune Jeanette Ablorsu.
