STAFF RELEASE STRESS AT 67TH INDEPENDENCE DAY GAMES

In commemoration of the 67th Independence Day anniversary on March 6, the University’s Sports and Recreation Unit, along with the various staff unions, organised a series of fun games for staff to unwind on the holiday.

The event, held on the sports field, featured activities such as aerobics, football, table tennis, sack race, tug-of-peace, handball, lime-on-spoon, apple in water, and a variety of indoor games.

Notably, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ben Honyenuga, and his deputy, Prof. Christopher Mensah, actively participated in the football match between faculty and senior administrators, which ended in a one-all draw, with the VC scoring the equalizer for the Lecturers through a spot-kick in the first half.

The  Registrar,  Dr. Christopher Amehoe commended the staff for their enthusiastic participation in the games, which also served as a means for socialising.
