The Vice-Chancellor of Ho Technical University, Prof. Ben Honyenuga, has handed over a Canon R6 digital camera with accessories to the Public Affairs Directorate.
The equipment, which includes four lenses and four flashlights, was procured alongside other gadgets for the establishment of a communication laboratory at the Department of Modern Languages and Communication. It is expected to enhance the Directorate’s work in projecting and promoting the University’s activities.

Prof. Honyenuga said management has made conscious efforts to meet the needs of directorates and units despite resource constraints. He noted that the new devices will strengthen the University’s communication outfit and urged staff to update their skills and handle the equipment with care.
The Registrar, Dr. Christopher Amehoe, emphasized the delicate nature of the gadgets and announced that they will be kept in the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat, with a logbook to track usage.
Receiving the items, the Acting Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Emmanuel Selase, expressed appreciation to management and assured that the equipment will be put to good use.
This latest presentation brings to three the number of cameras provided to the Public Affairs Directorate since 2021, underscoring management’s sustained commitment to building the University’s communication capacity.
