HTU Mourns with Ziavi Traditional Area

A delegation from Ho Technical University, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ben Honyenuga, on Friday, February 27, 2026, joined mourners at Ziavi-Dzogbe in the Ho Municipality to pay their last respects to the late Paramount Chief of the Ziavi Traditional Area, Togbe Kwaku Ayim IV.

Togbe Ayim IV, who passed away in 2024, was a retired special needs educator and a member of the Volta Region House of Chiefs. He reigned for nearly four decades, leaving a lasting legacy in education and traditional leadership.

The HTU delegation included Dr. Christopher Amehoe, Registrar; Prof. Elizabeth Obinnim, former Dean of Students Affairs; and other officers from the Human Resource Directorate. The Vice-Chancellor signed the book of condolence, while the team presented customary drinks and a token to support the funeral.
