The University announces admission for June, 2017 intake into the following Master of Technology (MTech) programmes. These programmes are run in partnership with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) on sandwich basis at Ho Technical University (HTU).

  1. Master of Technology in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in:
    • Farm Machinery and Power Engineering
    • Soil and Water Engineering
    • Post-harvest and Food Security Technology
  2. Master of Technology programmes in Mechanical Engineering
    • Production Engineering
    • Automobile Engineering
    • Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineering

The MTech programme is run for over a period of two (2) academic years.
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Institution in the relevant or related field(s) of study preferably in Agriculture, Engineering and Science disciplines with a minimum of second class (Lower Division)
Applicants must have at least one year of relevant industrial experience.

I. Application Forms should be downloaded and completed in triplicate.
II. Pay cost of Application Forms into Ho Technical University PRODUCTION UNIT ACCOUNT: Account number – 5011130004139 at all networked branches of GCB Bank.
III. Completed Application Forms should be accompanied by Bank Pay-in-slips, three (3) copies of certificates, transcripts of Academic Record and two (2) copies of completed Referees’ Confidential Recommendation Forms.

IV. Completed Application Forms together with the above-mentioned documents should be submitted to:
Office of the Dean, School of Graduate Studies, Ho Technical University, P. O. Box HP 217, Ho – Ghana. The envelopes containing the documents should be marked: MTECH APPLICATION.

V. Application Forms not supported with evidence of payment shall not be processed.
