BuildingTech

The Department gives students the opportunity to explore their full potentials with the aid of technologically equipped laboratory so that they can contribute to a more humane and environmentally responsible built world. It is made up of three sections namely: Building Construction, Painting & Decoration and Carpentry & Joinery. Programmes offered in the department are: HND Building Technology Construction Technician Course Part I (CTC I) Construction Technician Course Part II (CTC II).

Objectives

  • To create conducive teaching and learning environment for the training of highly skilled and competent manpower in the field of building technology.
  • Manage efficiently its human, financial and physical resources.
  • Produce highly skilled manpower for national development in the field of Building Technology.
  • Strengthen the human resource base of the department.
